This is a performance of considerable cleverness and interest. The author has observed life in its various ramifications, with a curious and attentive eye. There is an accuracy in her remarks, seldom found in works of this description. We recommend its perusal to our fair readers, as a novel calculated to amuse the fancy, and amend the heart.
