The troubles of a neighbouring and unfortunate kingdom have given rise to may works of fancy. On a subject so favourable for an inventive mind, it is a matter of surprise so little has been done; but the task seems to have been reserved for the author of the pathetic, elegant, and interesting story of Hubert de Sevrac.
